My name is Zahid Hussain and I am a writer. I am a novelist, poet, performance poet and screen writer.

"The Curry Mile", my debut novel, was launched on November 2nd 2006. The story is set in Manchester and London and charts the lives of Sorayah Butt and her father, Ajmal.

There have been many reviews of the novel. If you haven't read the book then the reviews will provide an insight. If you want a sneek preview, then read the first chapter.

Currently, I am working on several different writing projects.
